Earlier this year, we announced our partnership with Chamber of Mothers: the nonpartisan 501(c)(3) committed to making life better for moms in America. We focused on mobilizing moms across the country in advance of the election — making sure they knew how to support paid family leave, affordable childcare, and improved maternal health policies with their vote. But there’s still more work to be done! So this Giving Tuesday, we’re supporting Chamber of Mothers’ work at the grassroots level — helping them expand their local advocacy chapters to 20 new states. These groups give back to their communities in countless ways, from helping moms screen for postpartum mood disorders to providing in the NICU with essential resources. To champion our work, you can make a donation by texting COMMUNITY to 707070. We’ll match your contribution up to $5k from Dec 3 - 10! You can also learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gE48feHK

In California and the United States, #FFNcare is the most common nonparental #ChildCare arrangement for young children, including #infants and #toddlers–nearly two out of every five children, ages 3 and under, are entrusted to the care of an FFN provider. 🚼 Yet FFN providers receive low or no compensation for their work. #ChildCareSubsidies are a critical way for FFNs to increase their income, but currently, many face barriers to accessing this system. Early Edge California, Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, San Jose Public Library, and Vision y Compromiso have released a NEW policy brief exploring the barriers to subsidies and provides recommendations on how to better support FFN caregivers in obtaining them. Thousands of women experience complications so severe after pregnancy that many can lead to death. In fact, research shows that 78% of these deaths can be prevented? Why are the risks so high for black moms-to-be, especially in New York? Racial disparities play a huge role—and are heightened throughout the city. These include factors such as access to quality healthcare, underlying chronic conditions, and structural racism and bias. Saving Mothers set up the NYC mPOWHER program to help address all of the above. Source: Saving Mothers Learn what you can do to make an impact and help improve this stat. When we started Lane Fertility, the goal was simple: to create a space for diversity and inclusion in egg donation. Early on, I noticed a major demand for Black and Brown donors—but they were incredibly hard to find. What began as a mission to fill this gap has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Today, we’re not just focused on Black and Brown donors; we’re working to represent EVERY majority and minority, because everyone deserves access to parenthood. Our mission is to expand and make this dream a reality for families of all backgrounds. #eggdonation #fertilityjourney #diversityandinclusion #familybuilding #parenthoodforall #fertilitymatters #eggdonorbank #laneeggbank #representationmatters #inclusiveparenthood #fertilitysupport #hopeforfamilies #donoreggs #buildingdreams #accessforall

📢 Drop-Off Diapers at RMCHF! 👶 Join us for our Diaper Drive on Wednesday, September 25th, from 6-10 a.m. at our office: 📍 5394 Marshall Street, Unit 400, Arvada, CO. September is Diaper Need Awareness Month, and we’re raising awareness about this often-overlooked issue. 1 in 2 U.S. families experience diaper need. Without enough diapers, babies are left in soiled ones for too long, leading to health risks. Lack of diapers can also prevent parents from attending work, school, or job training, as many childcare providers require families to supply their own diapers. Many families, especially those facing medical challenges, struggle to afford enough diapers. At RMCHF, we’re committed to helping these families by providing essential supplies to keep babies clean, dry, and healthy. By donating diapers, you're helping us make a real difference for families.
