Members of our team recently joined partners from Be Pro Be Proud NC in hosting a mobile workshop at Southside High School in Chocowinity, North Carolina, to teach students about career pathways in the skilled workforce, including in the forest products industry. The event featured Be Pro Be Proud’s custom trailer outfitted with computer simulators and virtual reality headsets that provided students a realistic digital experience for what it’s like to operate heavy equipment, drive a commercial truck, and conduct engine diagnostics and repair, among other things.
