What do you do after work, I asked you last year, remember?👀 Turns out we shared (much too) many music together after work last year, both in Milan and far from it! To give you some perspective, we did: 60+ concerts, 15+ venues, 4+ states, 2+ classical music festivals and met many new friends from all around the world. Thank you for that - 2023/2024 was quite a music ride with you!🏇 So, as the new concert season opens, sharing now here my 2024/2025 (not just classical) music program: it works the same as last year, although with some improvements. Two preliminary notes to set the tone: 1. We will be listening to a LOT of Ravel, as 2025 marks 150 years since his birth (that's a good thing, if you ask me). 2. My goal for 2025 is to learn French, so when "touring" outside Milan for concerts, we should (collectively) try focusing more on French speaking territories, oui?👀🇫🇷 Have a look and let me know when/where am I seeing you! Ciao

Asake and others are known for musical concerts at home and away. O2 Arena is often sold out when Afrobeats artistes perform. They are great perdormers. A major reason why people go for concerts. Concerts are beneficial to artistes in many ways. Exposure: Concerts expose artistes to new audiences and fans. It promotes their music. Express their creativity: Artists can express themselves through live performances and connect with fans in a phenomenal way. Money: The artistes earn a percentage of the ticket price, either as a flat fee or they get a share of the total ticket revenue.

Just been looking at some fascinating data from Germany on attendance at orchestral concerts. 1. Visits have risen by 171.1 % since 1966 and by around 20.4 % since 2000. In 2006/07, the number of visits exceeded 4 million for the first time, since when the number of visits has stagnated. 2. The number of concerts has increased steadily, since 1966/67 by 398% from 1593 concerts to 7668 up to the peak in 2013/14. After that, a slight downward trend set in, with a decline of 9.8% to 6920 in 2018/19. 3. Attendance per concert was relatively constant from 1966/67 until almost the end of the 1980s. After reunification, the figures rose briefly, only to fall sharply. Overall, the number of visits per concert almost halved, from 1220 at its peak to 638 today.
