By investing in individuals who have a solid understanding of the organization's mission and goals, you mitigate some of the risks that come from allowing them the freedom required to innovate within your organization. For years, the mystery remained unsolved, "inefficiencies in the company's supply chain were costing them millions". And there was Femi, who saw an opportunity for a new service line but instead of starting his own venture decides to leverage his company's resources to bring this idea to life. He developed a game changing inventory management system that resulted in a 30% cost reduction and a major boost in productivity. This is Intrapreneurship in action!. Intrapreneurship is all about fostering innovation from within. For Black professionals in Europe, it's a game-changer. Here’s why: 1. Access to Resources: You can focus solely on developinng your Idea without worrying about cost or building a team from scratch. 2. Job Security: Entrepreneurship is risky, but as an intrepreneur, you can innovate without the fear of losing livelihood 3. Competitive advantage: Unique solutions developed in-house can give companies an edge over competitors. 4. Driving Diversity: Companies that embrace intrapreneurship benefit from diverse perspectives. 5. Faster Implementation: Ideas from intrapreneurs can often be implemented more quickly than external solutions. Are you an intrapreneur with a brilliant idea? Don't hold back, your innovation could be the next big breakthrough your company needs. #BlackProfessionalsInEurope #Innovation #Intrapreneurship #DiversityInBusiness

Based on my business consulting experience, I’ve often wondered why innovation in mature companies most often seems to come from acquiring outside entrepreneurial efforts, rather than nurturing a culture of innovation internally. I’m now convinced mature companies put more value on repeatability with minimal change, so they seek and nurture employees who don’t innovate.
