Happy Birthday Tignanello! 🍇 We are beyond proud to be part of the 50 years celebrations of the legendary Tignanello red wine produced by our wonderful client Marchesi Antinori that has made history and is known around the world as the first “Super Tuscan”. The Antinori family celebrates the 50th anniversary of Tignanello in Florence with a tasting through the 5 decades of Tignanello, an impressive experiential digital art installation by Felice Limosani that ‘animates’ Palazzo Antinori for the first time in its history. The artist reimagines traditional landscape and floral techniques with AI and generative software, creating surreal, majestic depictions of nature. Displayed on the palace facade and courtyard, these works transform Chianti Classico's atmosphere into dreamlike landscapes and enchanted gardens, accompanied by a natural soundtrack of birds, cicadas, and crickets for an immersive sensory experience. Fifty years ago, the Tignanello 1971 vintage made its debut, heralding a new era in winemaking. This milestone in oenology sparked what is now known as the 'Renaissance' of Italian wine. Tignanello broke the mold, becoming a benchmark and pioneering the renowned Super Tuscan movement. The 50th anniversary of Tignanello is also the perfect opportunity for the family that has led the winery for 26 generations to support the City of Florence in its project to preserve Ponte Vecchio, a symbol of the city as the family's history has been closely linked to Florence since the 13th century.
