The battery temperature reached up to 1,300 degrees Celsius. Anti-Thermal Runaway test for Battery Swapping System. BridgeTek Energy and partners in Korea conducted a thermal runaway test by heating batteries for e-scooter to create a safe Battery Swapping System (we can see the fire around 2:40 in the video). The ultimate goal of this test is to prevent anti-thermal runaway of the Battery Swapping System. If a fire starts in one compartment inside the Battery Swapping System for an unexpected reason, it should not spread to the side. The BTK team was able to obtain valuable data such as time to ignition, time to pop-up sound, peak temperature of battery fire, and duration of various events through this test to design a Battery Swapping System without anti-thermal runaway.

KEPCO has lost more than 230 billion won in three years and will raise electricity prices at an appropriate time The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea announced on the 26th that it will raise electricity prices after the peak of summer electricity consumption to reduce the debt burden of the Korea Electric Power Corporation.
