Nurses across the country are unhappy, and demanding more from their health systems. Frustrated by inadequate staffing ratios, burnout, and a combination of other operational and cultural issues which have existed for far too long (made evident in this Modern Healthcare article below), our nation’s nurses are asking for change. The root of these issues can only be addressed by implementing innovative solutions, like offering flexible self-scheduling options for nurses. Health systems and nurses have a common goal - improving retention, providing excellent patient care, and building a better future for their health system. By allowing nurses the autonomy they need to manage their own scheduling we can avoid nurse strikes and cultivate a stronger, more efficient nursing workforce. https://lnkd.in/eKXdSXQA
