Today, we announced results up to 9 months from the Phase 1 trial of APG777 for the treatment of #atopicdermatitis, building on positive interim data from the trial announced in March. These data continue to support a potential best-in-class PK and PD profile of APG777, and in particular, a near-complete inhibition of pSTAT6 and sustained TARC inhibition out to 9 months following a single dose. Roxana Mehran joined us to discuss the findings from an ancillary analysis of the SMART trial 716 patients were enrolled in the trial, and were randomized on a 1:1 basis to receive TAVR with either a Medtronic Cardiac and Vascular self-expanding transcatheter aortic valve, or an Edwards Lifesciences balloon-expandable transcatheter heart valve The SMART trial is a prospective, multi-center, randomized controlled study that aims to investigate the valve safety and performance of self expanding as compared to balloon-expandable transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in patients with small aortic annuli and severe symptomatic aortic stenosis At select sites, a stress echocardiography sub-study also evaluated the performance of self expandable and balloon-expandable TAVR in this patient group, after exercise stress testing #EuroPCR #EuroPCR24

New clinical data just released at #NYValves2024 demonstrates that the use of SENTINEL™ CPS is associated with a statistically significant reduction in disabling stroke in TAVR procedures in both instrumental variable analysis and propensity weighting analysis. Additionally, in a subgroup analysis the subset of patients with prior stroke were identified as more likely to benefit from SENTINEL use in TAVR.
