If you could get additional mental and physical health support from your employer - what would it be?? The Vitality report highlights that 63% of employees want their employers to do more than they currently do BUT that employees use just 25% of the interventions offered….. Why is this? Are the interventions appropriate, helpful, clearly communicated and signposted? Do employers need to offer more, or re-define their offering to suit their employees needs? It’s clear that interventions and initiatives are needed - but when we drill down into their effectiveness / uptake - do they really hit the mark?? Or are there some token gestures here? Get in touch with us and we will help with creating your bespoke solutions. Info@thewellbeingcollaboration.com https://lnkd.in/ewND9SiV

Burnout and exhaustion have climbed to become the fourth most common reason employees leave their roles, according to Tiger Recruitment's Salary and Benefits Review. At the same time, requests for improved mental health support are rising, yet only 25% of employees feel their benefits package adequately addresses their wellbeing. So, how can employers step up? A few key actions include: - Offering comprehensive Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) - Normalising mental health conversations through training and advocacy - Regularly reviewing benefits packages to ensure employees know exactly what is available and feel supported By investing in mental health initiatives, employers not only create healthier workplaces but also boost retention, productivity, and long-term success.
