Today marks the start of National Braille Week, a week dedicated to celebrating Braille and highlighting how it supports with independence, equality, and inclusion for blind and visually impaired people. We wanted to showcase the embossed graphics we saw at ATIA by ViewPlus Technologies, Inc. ViewPlus create embossers that use variable dot heights and patterns to represent colour in tactile graphics as well as accessible colouring books.

Each colour has a different Braille layout to distinguish the colours. Red has bricks, orange has circles, yellow has vertical lines, green has rows of trees, blue has waves, purple has dots and brown has checkerboard.
