Employee Spotlight: Meet Elizabeth Strivens, our Customer Supply Chain and Logistics Manager ✨ You might not always see her work front and centre, but Lizzy (on the left) is behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly at VIEVE. For this month’s Employee Spotlight, we’re getting the inside scoop from Lizzy on what it’s really like to manage the logistics and supply chain side of things at VIEVE! Q: What’s your role at VIEVE? A: I'm the Customer Supply Chain and Logistics Manager at VIEVE. If a product physically moves at any point in the business, it's my responsibility to support that process — whether that’s managing our warehouse, freight & delivery teams, or working with our retailer partners to support product launches and brand growth. Q: What does a typical day in your role look like? A: A typical day at VIEVE is so varied — no two days are ever the same! My main focus is order management to ensure our retailers, PR team, and internal teams are all supported in getting stock to the right place at the right time. I also work on launch planning with our warehouse, forecasting volumes based on our e-commerce team’s insights, and managing the master data by creating all product information. It’s a fast-paced, reactive role, but that’s what makes it exciting — each day brings something new! Q: What do you love most about working in the beauty industry? A: I've always been passionate about makeup and beauty, so having a career in this industry is extra exciting. Getting a behind-the-scenes look at how products are created and understanding the logistics behind launches has given me a whole new perspective on the beauty industry. Plus, it’s a small world — so it’s always fun bumping into familiar faces from time to time! Q: What is your proudest VIEVE moment so far? A: My proudest VIEVE moment so far has been the solo management of my first Glasgow pop-up stock set-up ahead of doors opening. Pop-ups are such an exciting and labour of love for the team, so to have the responsibility of ensuring we had a smooth and structured stock arrival was vital — you can't have a pop-up shop with no products to sell. Q: What do you love most about being a part of VIEVE? A: The team! I’m fortunate to work closely with every department, and everyone’s passion and dedication inspire me every day. Every person I work with is an absolute joy, and I truly couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. We’re so lucky to have Lizzy on our team!
