VicGrid’s Post

⭐️ VicGrid is excited to bring the 2025 National Renewables in Agriculture Conference to Victoria for the first time as a major sponsor. We recognise the crucial contribution the agriculture sector makes to Victoria’s economy, regional communities, food and water security and way of life. 🌿 🐄 The conference is a great opportunity for VicGrid to connect with farmers and organisations across the sector and to learn from their experiences and knowledge of farming practices and the energy transition. We look forward to sharing updates about our new long-term strategic plan for renewable energy zones and transmission.  🤝 The interests of farmers, regional communities, First Peoples and Traditional Owners, are being placed at the forefront of this plan. We know we need their input to get this right so we can minimise impacts, deliver real benefits and keep the lights on for all Victorian homes and businesses.   The conference is taking place in Bendigo in July. Further details will be released over the coming months.  🔗 To subscribe to our newsletter and to learn more about how we’re planning renewable energy and transmission infrastructure for Victoria, visit https://lnkd.in/gtwdCWs6 Karin Stark Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action Victorian Government    #VicGrid #FarmRenewables #EnergyTransition #GenuineEngagement

National Renewables in Ag Conference Founder

🌱 The National Renewables in Agriculture Conference is pleased to welcome VicGrid as Platinum Sponsor, along with Davey Water Products, for the 23 July event in Bendigo!! I heard Alistair Parker, VicGrid's CEO, speaking at another Conference about the importance of respect when dealing with landholders and regional communities. He genuinely understood that regional people need to be heard and taken seriously. The #RenewablesinAg Conference provides a unique and important platform for bringing together the diverse voices of farmers, industry leaders, policy makers, and innovators to advance the integration of #renewables in #agriculture and to ensure a fair and just energy transition for all Australians. As always, a huge thank you to our sponsors AgriFutures Australia, Squadron Energy, Cogency, AGL and Jemena for your belief in the vision of the Conference, that working together can bring about a better future.  See you in #Bendigo! 🌾☀️🔋 https://lnkd.in/fbYY6dU
