Low-grade serous ovarian cancer (LGSOC) is challenging to diagnose, as its symptoms often resemble irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). In some cases, it can take up to three years to receive an accurate LGSOC diagnosis. On #RareDiseaseDay, we recognize the obstacles that patients living with a difficult to diagnose ovarian cancer and other rare diseases face.
