Today we wanted to talk you through a couple of changes we've made to venture that will benefit clients who use events as a central point of their candidate and client attraction strategies. If you're running meetups, webinars, or lots of events with last minute signups, this one's for you as we've added an extra field to the Events article in the Media Hub. Previously we had only 1 field for the event start date. The problem with this is that it stopped potential attendees from registering for an event on the day. We've now split this into two dates, the event start date and time and a registration end date and time. The event start and date time as before, will be displayed on the event article page in the front end of the site. The registration end date and time will disable the Register Now button on the page and the text will change to Registration closed after the set date and time specified. Both fields come with a date and time picker which makes population easy. This rolled out to all clients on the Venture platform, meaning you can start using it today.
