Last week, our Acute Therapies team connected with an international audience at the International Symposium on Intensive Care & Emergency Medicine (ISICEM), where we highlighted our work to #ExpandPossibilities for clinical teams supporting patients with life-threatening conditions in the ICU. We were proud to host multiple engaging talks, including a lunch symposium advancing the discussion on the potential of extracorporeal organ support for critically ill patients, as well as poster presentations on the safety and efficacy of a new blood gas exchanger for extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal (ECC02R).
