Case study : Chief complaint : Pain in root canal treated teeth in right lower back tooth region since 3 days. On examination : tender on percussion teeth number 32. Took IOPA: reveals radiolucency in mesial canal / mesial canal was not obturated. Treatment plan: explained the patient about the condition and advised surgical extraction of teeth number 32 (or) to perform re- root canal treatment in teeth number 32. Patient didn’t want to extract his teeth, hence proceeded with preps for re- rct. On access opening , found out the mesial canal was totally vital with pulp tissues . Debrided the canals and irrigated well. Gave a closed dressing and recalled the patient after a week for obturation. After a week the patient came back , with no pain or any discomfort after the first sitting. Completed the obturation and gave a posterior composite filling. Kindly note the mesial canal is totally curved from middle.

Why do we need meshes for incisional hernias? These iconic paper from Burger et al. back in 2004 set things straight and compared conventional suture with mesh techniques.
