UPL SAS, in collaboration with CEASI- Centres of Excellence for Agriculture Skills in India, hosted a workshop on "Sustainable Sugarcane: Advancing Productivity, Partnerships and Future Pathways" at Acharya Narendra Deva University Of Agriculture And Technology, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, as part of 'Shashwat Mithaas - UPL SAS' Sustainable Sugar Program'. The event was graced by the University Vice Chancellor, Dean of Agriculture, Horticulture & Forestry and Director of Extension reinforcing the commitment to sustainable sugarcane farming. This collaboration represents a crucial step toward enhancing productivity of sugarcane farmers while integrating sustainability throughout the sugar value chain. As part of this initiative, UPL SAS will be helping sugarcane farmers in the catchment area of Ayodhya with below interventions: 🌿 Regenerative agriculture practices to optimize resources like seed, soil, water, electricity & fertilizers use and improve their efficiency 📦 Pronutiva (End-to-end Integrated Crop Care and Nutrition Package) 📱 Digitalization of all operations from seed to harvest 🛡 Risk cover solutions by providing personal insurance and weather risk insurance 🚜 Mechanization to address labor challenges 🛒 Market linkages 🤝 Prospects for generating carbon credits #reimaginingsustainability #shashwatmithaas #uplsas
