🌟Happy National Do Something Kind Day!🌟 Today is all about spreading kindness, and what better way to celebrate than by focusing on the small, thoughtful actions that make a difference? In my role as the servicing specialist here at Visit Conroe , I’m constantly reminded of the power of kindness in hospitality. Whether it’s going the extra mile to ensure a guest's stay is seamless, adding a personal touch to a welcome package, or simply offering a warm smile goes a long way. It’s the little things like our Manager treating us to donuts that can truly make someone’s daily experience special. On this National #DoSomethingKindDay ,I’m inspired to continue finding ways to make every partnership, every group visit to Conroe, or every new inquiry phone call not just convenient, but filled with genuine care and positive surprises. Because, at the end of the day, KINDNESS is the heart of a great experience for all human beings no matter the industry. How will you celebrate today? Let’s all find a way to do something kind for someone else or for yourself—big or small, it all counts. 💛 #NationalDoSomethingKindDay #KindnessMatters #Hospitality #GroupServicing #VisitConroe #PositiveImpact #CustomerExperience #YourFavoriteEventPlanner #PartnershipPrincess

What if gratitude and recognition in the workplace could be measured in tacos, cakes and cheers? Here are some ways we spread gratitude, celebrate each other, and create a sense of community and belonging at Acuity Insights. 🌮 Giving Tacos. Our Taco channel on Slack, powered by HeyTaco, is a space where our team members recognize each other throughout the day with shoutouts and messages of appreciation that include taco emojis. 🥂 Giving Cheers. On Fridays, team members meet on Zoom to give cheers to peers. That means we raise our glass (or cup or bottle) collectively in real time to share the small and big impacts people and teams made that week. 🎂 + 🌮 Cake Days & Taco Days: These sweet & savoury annual social events are when we gather together—in person or virtually—to eat tacos and cake to celebrate our team and our biggest wins of the year. When you finally sit down at the table with family or friends for Christmas dinner—after all the prep, stress, and chaos—how does it feel? There’s something about that moment, isn’t there? The laughter, the conversation, the shared experience of good food and being together. It’s not about perfection or extravagance; it’s about connection. What if we could bottle up that sense of togetherness and carry it with us into 2025? Christmas will be done and dusted in just over a week, and life will slip back into its usual rhythm—the humdrum of balancing work, family, and finances. But somewhere in that mix, we need to carve out space for something just as important: the health that is happiness for ourselves. Those moments around the table remind us how much we need each other—not just at Christmas, but throughout the year. So, as we step into the new year, let’s hold onto what that table represents: togetherness, belonging, and the joy of being present with others. It’s not just something to celebrate once a year—it’s something to nurture all year long. Any time you want to reach out – Dinners With Friends will be waiting for you to pull up a seat.

In a world that often feels fast-paced and impersonal, the act of being seen and recognized holds incredible power. This truth hit home for us recently during a visit to one of our favorite Atlanta restaurants, Banshee. It had been almost a year since our last visit, but as soon as we walked through the door, a familiar face lit up with recognition. Our server from past visits approached us with a warm hello, genuinely happy to see us again. Despite not being our server that evening, they took the time to come over and greet us. This small gesture of connection made a big impression on us, and we left feeling appreciated and valued - it made us feel seen. Take a moment today to recognize someone in your orbit. Whether it’s a colleague, a friend, or even a customer, let them know they matter. It could make all the difference in the world not only to them but also to you. Recognizing others fosters a sense of community and belonging, leading to stronger relationships and a more positive atmosphere. In a time where human connections can sometimes feel overlooked, let’s make it a priority to see and acknowledge the people around us. After all, everyone deserves to feel seen and valued. #RecognitionMatters #CustomerService #HumanConnection #PositiveImpact #CommunityBuilding #FeelSeen #ValueOthers

It was a bright and sunny day when we visited Lovett, and it felt like the good weather was no coincidence ☀ Lovett, one of our cleaning supervisors on site, radiates positivity, and her smile was as warm as the sun that day. “Lovett is amazing with people,” says Patrycja, our Area Manager. And it’s clear why. Lovett’s energy is infectious, and the relationships she’s built on-site are nothing short of remarkable. “They always give me gifts, many times. They always say I’m a good cleaner! Lovett, the whole place is nice!” she says with a smile. The appreciation she receives says a great deal about her character whether it’s a coffee, chocolates, or, as she puts it, “Last week, the lady on the 8th floor bought me two cokes.” Her dedication is just as notable. Lovett makes sure everything runs smoothly each day, from uniform checks to ensuring safety in the early, dark winter mornings. “I make sure every morning when I come in, I go to each and every colleague to make sure that they have their yellow signs, make sure everyone is on time, I will do uniform checks and rectify or educate anyone if they don’t have the correct uniform. If somebody is not in, I will ring them to check and make sure nothing has happened on the way to work”. Patrycja adds, “During winter months, they start at 5 am, and it is pitch black, so Lovett will take the correct measures to make sure that they’re safe”. It’s no wonder Lovett and her team received high praise during Christmas last year from our client, with a massive thank you from everyone on site. Lovett is truly a leader, and the impact she makes every day is just as bright as the day we visited her. #TeamLeadership #PositiveWorkCulture #CustomerAppreciation #WorkplaceWellness #DedicatedToExcellence #EmployeeRecognition #LeadingByExample #FacilitiesManagement

We Just Wrapped Our Washington, DC Holiday Pop-Up – And What a Beautiful Experience It Was! There’s something truly special about connecting with our customers face-to-face. It’s more than just handing over a bottle of champagne — it’s about the conversations, the stories, and the shared excitement over every pop and pour. Our recent pop-up at Hotel Nell - Union Market was a celebration of more than just champagne. It was a chance to meet our supporters, answer their questions, and offer guidance on selecting the perfect bottle for themselves or as a gift. Moments like these remind us why in-person interactions are so essential. Here’s why these face-to-face experiences matter: -Personalized Guidance: Each customer is different, and being there in person allows us to offer thoughtful recommendations. -Building Community: Luxury isn’t just about the product — it’s about connection. Events like this bring people together. -Real-Time Feedback: Hearing directly from customers gives us insight into what they love, what they’re curious about, and how we can continue to serve them better. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who stopped by, shared a moment with us, and took a little piece of B. Stuyvesant Champagne home. Your support means everything. To everyone who joined us, thank you for being part of this memorable experience. If you missed us this time, don’t worry — there’s more to come. Stay tuned for the next opportunity to sip, shop, and connect with us in person. Until then, keep the celebration going with B. Stuyvesant Champagne. #SipStuyvesant #CustomerExperience #HolidayPopUp #BStuyvesantChampagne #ChampagneVibes #ThankYou #CustomerConnection

3. Appreciation Appreciation is all about acknowledging and valuing the little things your partner does, which can go a long way in strengthening your relationship. For example, imagine a couple where one partner consistently takes care of household chores, like cooking dinner or doing laundry. Instead of taking it for granted, the other partner makes it a point to express gratitude. They might say, “I appreciate all the effort you put into dinner tonight. It was delicious!” This simple acknowledgment not only makes the hardworking partner feel recognized but also encourages them to continue contributing. Regularly showing appreciation creates a positive atmosphere in the relationship, where both partners feel valued and loved. So, let’s make it a habit to express appreciation for each other’s efforts, big and small, to nurture a loving and supportive partnership! #Gratitude #ThankYou #AppreciateEachOther #SpreadLove #RelationshipAppreciation #MentalWellness #Positivity #AppreciationPost

The recent Burger King Halloween/Joker/Blackface controversy is a clear reminder: without diversity on teams, cultural awareness falls through the cracks. I came across a comment saying "People of color are tired of calling this stuff out; it's not our job," and while I get the frustration, I have to disagree. I can’t expect my coworkers to be fully aware of my culture, just like I won’t know everything about theirs. It’s on all of us to speak up and educate each other when something’s off. That’s how we grow and actually move forward together. If we can’t connect on this level, are we really working as a team, or just getting things done in isolation?
