Non-profit organizations, ngos, non governmental orgs of this world, if you are inspired to befriend needy communities in the Orient, especially the highlands of the Himalayas all the way to China-India-Nepal borders, you have come to the right place. Since 2017, PR China has been under the legal regime of a new law: Law Administrating on In-China Activities of Cross-border NGOs (境外非政府组织境内活动管理法), the new law provides quite an elaborate channel by which a cross-border ngos (not necessarily foreign, as Hong Kong ngos etc are under this legal regime) may register an entity in PR China (including Tibet Autonomous Region). Needs: Charitable relief, livelihood, disaster relief, medical help, elders care, homes for the disabled, and other areas of needs. You need to be a properly registered nonprofit org in your own jurisdiction or country and the org has been in business for at least 2 years. arxist@163.com

Introducing Give Africa Initiative, Give Africa is a sub-organization of the KSH Foundation and the arm through which we support charitable causes that aim to improve the lives of vulnerable communities by providing them access to basic necessities like water. Our initiatives include Light Up, Plant a Tree, and Build a Well. Our mission is to simplify giving by making it accessible and transparent, ensuring contributions reach the intended beneficiaries. In 2024, we embarked on the first batch of the build a well project in partnership with Water the needy Foundation and Global Shapers Kano. Water is a basic need, not a privilege reserved for the affluent. we often overlook the importance of water until it becomes unavailable. The project provided nine wells and six boreholes to communities in Northern Nigeria. We hosted a luncheon to celebrate our progress, remind ourselves of the importance of water and encourage people to give. The event, themed “The Integral Role of Water in Community Development: Exploring Its Social and Economic Impacts". The event saw Edima Okodi-Iyah as keynote speaker, Zack Onwe, Oluwadarasimi Adedapo and John Wali panelists. Our keynote speaker in her address stressed that “Water is Life and access to clean water is not a luxury but a right. The panel discussion on “Water Accessibility in Relation to Education, Health, and Entrepreneurship,” stressed the importance of bridging knowledge gaps on water management and maintenance to improve access to education and healthcare and support water-dependent businesses. We are glad to have been able to improve the lives of these communities. Support our work by contributing to our 2cents using the link below: www.give.ksh.africa

With the RON95 subsidy rationalization set for June 2025, NGOs in Malaysia will face increased demand for support, a shift in donor priorities, and rising transportation costs impacting community outreach. As costs climb and donation trends evolve, NGOs are preparing to shoulder an even greater burden in serving vulnerable communities. This is a crucial time for NGOs in Malaysia to unite and advocate for more inclusive policies that recognize and support their role in social resilience.
