UM6P participating in U7+ Alliance Summit - Ethical Ai at the heart of discussions As part of the U7+ Alliance, UM6P— represented by Mr. Khalid Baddou - took part in the Alliance’s annual meeting hosted at the University of Ottawa. This engagement reaffirms UM6P’s active role within a network of over 50 leading institutions addressing global challenges through collective intelligence and academic cooperation. During this gathering, U7+ leadership adopted a joint Communiqué focusing on the role of Universities in the governance and use of artificial intelligence. This working group - co-chaired by UM6P Professor Lamiae Azizi - delivered actionable strategies on AI workforce training, inclusive innovation, public policy, and bridging the global AI divide. UM6P’s leadership joined peers from 16 other institutions in endorsing this initiative, reflecting the university’s ongoing role in shaping ethical and sustainable use of Ai at a global stage.
