2moThis Melbourne icon is coming up to a 25 year anniversary in the not too distant future. I remember discussing the concept for this and the other gateway elements with the architects (DCM) way back in the project tender stage in the mid 90’s, then having designers prepare the structural design concepts. It’s one cheese stick that would definitely NOT fit in a child’s school lunchbox 🤣🤣
