TPI's Stephen Nolet, Senior Director of Innovation & Technology helped with the 2025 KidWind Challenge in Maine this morning. The KidWind Challenge is a practical competition focused on wind turbine design, aimed at engaging students from grades 4 to 12 in STEM education. Participating teams present their small-scale wind turbines, which are tested in a wind tunnel. Additionally, teams interact with a panel of expert judges to showcase their design process and demonstrate their understanding of wind energy, while also addressing instant challenge activities.
