In January of 2020, TPD announced its strategic growth initiative – expanding our NJ presence by opening two new office locations. This came with several strategic key personnel hires - former Monmouth County Chief Bridge Engineer, Gregory Bitsko, our NJ Regional Structures Leader; Janella Guillermo, P.E., Senior Project Manager in our Structural Service Department; and Shana Battaglini (Fiandra), NJ Regional Construction Manager, to spearhead the expansion of our CM/CI operations in New Jersey, along with support staff to help build the foundation. Fast forward to today, TPD has successfully delivered, or is in the process of delivering, work on 60+ New Jersey CM/CI, bridge, traffic, and roadway agreements since then, working side-by-side with the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (drjtbc), New Jersey Department of Transportation, 10 New Jersey counties’ engineering departments, several municipalities, as well as higher education institutions. TPD President, Kevin Johnson, PE weighed in: “I could have never imagined when we made these key hires, that TPD’s presence would grow so exponentially in New Jersey in such a short period of time.
