The key to doing great work is to love what you do. When you're passionate about your work, it doesn't feel like work at all. Instead, you're driven by a sense of purpose and a desire to make a difference. #MondayMotivation #Greatwork #Work #Event #TorontoAV #Toronto #Audiovisual #Rentals

📅 Full day in the office, evenings at Navratri events, and late nights spent editing videos – it sounds like a lot, but here’s how I manage to do it all: Prioritize with Precision – Knowing what needs my focus and when helps me avoid feeling overwhelmed. Time blocks are my best friend. Passion Fuels Energy – When you love what you do, whether it's work or business, it doesn’t feel like a chore. My passion for drone shoots and storytelling gives me the energy I need to keep going. Leverage Technology – Using efficient tools and tech allows me to stay organized and productive, whether it’s editing footage late at night or staying on top of tasks during the day. Celebrate the Small Wins – Every successful shoot, every completed edit, and every productive workday is a win! These small milestones keep me motivated. Yes, it’s a busy time, but Navratri reminds us of the power of devotion and resilience. Just like the festival celebrates victory over obstacles, it’s about pushing through challenges to achieve balance and success. To everyone juggling multiple commitments – remember, it’s not about doing everything perfectly, but about doing what matters with passion and dedication. 💪

You know that feeling when you're watching a timelapse? That was 2024. But when I slowed down to really look at it... wow. This year was incredible, and it was beneath all that speed. Diving into my calendar, scrolling through photos, and replaying stories in my mind, I started spotting patterns—like connecting dots of joy—those moments that made me feel alive, those experiences that filled my cup instead of draining it. It got me thinking about 2025's game plan, and it hit me—why not schedule what lights me up first? Joy gets priority booking ↳ Those adventures make my heart race, like a family vacation ↳ The moments where time slows down, like learning a new skill, a new dance craze perhaps ↳ The experiences I'll want to replay in my mind And on the flip side. - I'm creating a 'not-to-do' list ↳ All those energy vampires? They're getting benched ↳ Because honestly, life's too short for what dims your light ↳ Some opportunities deserve a polite 'no' I am sharing this because maybe you're also thinking about how to make 2025 hit differently. Here's to making our calendars work for joy, not the other way around! What are you giving VIP space in your 2025 calendar? Drop it below #reflection #intentionalliving #2025goals #timemanagement" Tips from @jadebonacolta

#weekap Scaling parties?! As written in the previous week the Christmas party season is starting and after coming together with the ART Coordination team (#RTE and #ScrumMaster) enjoying #VR, me and my former solution team #dragons ended the presence day in Hamburg visiting the Christimas market. At Swiss Life Deutschland the IT-infastructure in which our products are worked on is complex, needing a big variety and a high diversity of skills and expertise. This needs to be covered by a lot of people that need to #communicate and align each other towards a valuable outcome that pay into the needs, wishes and requirements of our stakeholders. To enable that all needed communication channels are existent and connetions are created, scaled frameworks may be sufficient. With having the upcoming company-wide Christmas Party in mind, I already know I won't be able to even talk to half of the people I would want to. And even if factors like time wouldn't matter, I wouldn't possibly be able to keep up my #focus on each interaction over the evening. Also, in the end the party should be about leaving the daily work behind, relaxing and everyone enjoying themselves and not feel stressful, so why not taking the learnings from our daily work to our parties? The #SAFe framework we are working in is mostly bringing the people together that need to communicate on a regular basis and is giving a guidance in which groups this should happen to feel the most efficient, maybe leading to release some pressure and stress from the people. This week it was time to meet with roles like #productowner, #productmanagement or #businessowner with having their responsibilities within on of our #agilereleasetrains. We just had quite little time together, but due to the limited amount of people being there, we had the opportunity to interact with everyone, creating connections, sharing experiences and maybe even inspire each other with other perspectives. Limiting the time and the people sharing a space, to create faster communication channels, having the people with the necessary expertise together and focus on the outcome of a meeting, making sure everyone is heard and is consenting. The bigger the audience the more likely it is that the majority of the people attending wouldn't bring or receive value: - Because because they are not the right people to join the discussion, so the time is wasted from productive work - The timebox is over and there was just not enough time to hear everybody out, so ideas and approaches will get lost or overlooked - stress is generated as we feel the pressure of finding the tiniest gap to get my voice onto the stage - more introverted people won't find a space to place their opinions - .... There are several more examples, but in the end it mostly comes down to communication and if frameworks are supporting here, why not also scaling your parties?! #proudtobeaswisslifer
