Feeling excited about the Women's Museum reopening in Barking on the 12th April and their new season themed around 'Desire Lines'. It's a really great cultural community safe space in the heart of Barking and we're delighted to be supporting The New Black Film Collective to start up a film club there this May as part of the BFI Spotlight initiative. So if you'd like to be the first to see a newly commissioned artwork for Spring by Sahra Hersi, made in collaboration with a group of women from Adanna Women’s Support Group, head down to the Women’s Museum, (5 Barking Wharf Square, IG11 7ZQ) at 12.30pm on the 12th for refreshments and creative activities!
