🌟 Hackathon Experience at TinkerHub's Useless Projects Make-a-thon! 🌟 Just finished an unforgettable 18-hour make-a-thon hosted by TinkerHub at DCS, CUSAT. This was my first-ever hackathon! Although I’d always wanted to participate, a mix of nerves and other factors held me back. But finally taking the leap was beyond rewarding, and here’s a look at the experience: 🔹 Event Overview: - Useless Projects is Kerala's most audacious hackathon, where TinkerHub challenged over 3000 students to build brilliantly impractical tech solutions. - Participants could create anything using software, hardware, or both, as long as it was purposefully useless! - It was an amazing opportunity to push boundaries, develop new skills, and win exciting prizes. 🎉 Team & Project: - I joined forces with Daniel Suresh and Niju Roy to bring our quirky project to life. - Our project was all about creating something that served no practical purpose but showcased our tech skills and out-of-the-box thinking! - Special shout out to Daniel—he contributed immensely to the project, bringing our ideas into reality with his creativity and tech skills. 🎮 Fun Icebreaker Game: - The organizers made us all participate in a super engaging game to help us connect with fellow participants. - I was a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out to be a brilliant way to get everyone comfortable with each other. 💡 Event Highlights: - Embracing a space where innovation knew no bounds—no pressure for practicality, just the freedom to create. - Learning from the unique, quirky projects of other participants and soaking up inspiration from the TinkerHub community. - Collaborating with passionate peers to build something fun and “useless,” all while sharpening our tech skills in the process. - And of course, receiving some cute stickers as a keepsake from the event! 🙌 Overall Takeaway: - This hackathon showed me the value of thinking beyond functionality to explore creativity and team collaboration in new ways. - Grateful to TinkerHub, TinkerHub DCS CUSAT, and everyone who made this event possible! It was an experience filled with laughter, creativity, and unforgettable memories. 🚀 #HackathonExperience #TinkerHub #UselessProjects #FirstHackathon #TechCreativity #InnovationUnleashed #Teamwork #OutOfTheBox #CUSAT #CodingCommunity #TechSkills #MakingMemories #KeralaInnovators #StudentHackathon #PushingBoundaries #ImpracticalTech
