‼️ As the election results rolled in late last night, we have since witnessed a wide array of different reactions. Cheering, crying, anger, critique, skepticism, and so much more. However, the one emotion we have yet to witness is indifference. Everyone knew this was going to be a historical election regardless of its outcome - now we have our proof. Now more than every, regardless of where you stand, maintaining across-the-aisle respect is crucial to preserve American democracy. Yet we also recognize and sympathize with people's passionate responses to ongoing events. For many, this is the time to speak out, and we want to help you with just that! Therefore, we strongly encourage our followers to submit opinionated articles (on your topic of choice) to our Feeling Opinionated feature for a chance to publish your election reactions. Submission link can be found here, https://lnkd.in/edQiYxXF. Furthermore, we encourage everyone to check out and follow our Instagram, @the._.opinionated, where we give our audience an opportunity to give short-form responses to the election outcome. We hope to see you there, and know that we are always here to amplify your opinion! ‼️ /The Opinionated

The #1 thing you need to be doing TODAY if you need your movement to keep growing after Election Day: ✨Get your people onto a list you own.✨ When you have a supporter’s email address or phone number and their permission, you can reach them directly, on your terms, whenever you want. This doesn’t mean you should spam people—your message and approach still need to be good to work. Growing your owned email and mobile lists is one of the best ways to ensure your organizing efforts can withstand changes in algorithms and politics.

Debate Debrief The dust has (mostly) settled on Tuesday’s debate. An estimated 67 million people tuned in, up significantly from the 51 million who watched the Biden/Trump debate. Flash polls showed a majority (63%) of debate-watchers believed that VP Harris outperformed former President Trump––a sharp turnaround from 67% believing Trump outperformed President Biden in June––but that it didn’t change many voters’ opinions. Republicans have been critical of ABC’s moderators for interrupting Trump five times to fact-check his answers and being softer on Harris, not fact-checking her at all. Trump said Wednesday that it was “three to one” and “a rigged deal”; yesterday, he said he would not do another debate. Minutes after the debate, Taylor Swift endorsed Harris on Instagram, driving nearly 340K people to vote.gov for state-specific voter registration information. __ ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE The debate may be important for the U.S.’s future but will have little impact on your eternal future. This doesn't mean that we shouldn’t care at all, but we should not let it steal our focus from Christ at the center of all things. “[The enemies of God] will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings. Those with him are called, chosen, and faithful.” Revelation 17:14 (CSB) (read full passage)

A THREAT TO BUREAUCRACY! Has it only been two weeks since Donald J. Trump was reelected as 47th President? In the last fourteen days, it seems President-elect Trump has produced more work product in announcing a huge number of Cabinet and other top staff posts than Biden and Harris combined in 2024! At the top of the list is the new DOGE, Department of Government Efficiency, which until now was considered one of the biggest oxymorons ever! Elon Musk, who along with Vivek Ramaswamy, form the new Dynamic Duo, has already shown his propensity for reducing costs while improving efficiency, having cut the staff count of the former Twitter, now X, by 90% since his purchase of the previously Left-Wing social media site. He also has reduced the cost to launch a KG of cargo into space by 90% since founding SpaceX. Ramaswamy, who was an eloquent surrogate of Trump's during the 2024 election cycle after ending his own campaign, explained why he believes he and Musk will succeed when all others failed: "Politicians haven’t been able to do it. And so Elon and I, we’re not politicians. We’re businessmen. We’re coming at it from the outside. Sometimes, if you go inside, you become native to the system.” “We expect mass reductions. We expect certain agencies to be deleted outright. We expect mass reductions in force in areas of the federal government that are bloated. We expect massive cuts of all federal contractors and others who are overbilling the federal government. So, yes, we expect all of the above.” Requiring 100% "In-Office Attendance" of all Federal employees, followed by decentralizing many departments to be closer to those they regulate, should get the wave of resignations started, setting the state for real downsizing by eliminating duplicative programs and services by multiple agencies. WHY IT WILL WORK THIS TIME: Thanks to the Supreme Court decision on June 28, 2024 to overturn the 40-year-old Chevron Doctrine, the power of federal agencies to interpret the laws they administer was cut back sharply, and was generally hailed by conservatives at the time as a target for those seeking to curtail the administrative state, who argued that courts, rather than federal agencies, should say what the law means. The STATUS QUO has met its MATCH! https://lnkd.in/eZmTWApU
