2025 has seen a number of devastating aid and development funding cuts globally. Global health, extreme poverty, and humanitarian programs are at risk. A number of organisations have responded with emergency appeals or response funds, including Unlock Aid's Foreign Aid Bridge Fund and the GlobalGiving Community Aid Fund. Thank you for highlighting the critical work being done through the Rapid Response Fund. We're proud to collaborate with Founders Pledge to address the devastating global health and humanitarian funding cuts. The $1.3 million granted so far has already made a meaningful difference to vulnerable communities affected by the cuts. We welcome others in our network to learn more about these efforts and consider supporting this urgent response to ensure essential services can continue despite funding challenges.

These unprecedented systemic challenges create critical humanitarian funding gaps worldwide. While the situation is dire, I see meaningful opportunities emerging in international development through fundraising and philanthropy. At The Life You Can Save, I’m proud to be part of our Rapid Response Fund initiative - quickly mobilising resources when traditional funding fails. We’re stepping in where cuts threaten proven, life-saving programs like Sanku ‘s flour fortification work in Ethiopia. This responsive approach ensures vulnerable communities aren’t abandoned when they need support most.
