THE FUTURE IS NEUTRAL’s Post

Yesterday in Antwerp, our Chief Business Officer Xavier Kaufman spoke at #IARC International Automotive Recycling Conference with a clear message: Cooperation is not just a buzz word, it’s a necessity if we want to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead of us! THE FUTURE IS NEUTRAL positions itself as a partner of all automotive players, with a fully operational ecosystem, already delivering industrial-scale solutions: - Reuse: We expand the usage of circular economy parts - #reusedparts -> 8 million parts in stock. #remanufacturing -> 11.000 SKU. Cooperation between repairers, dismantlers, renovators and producers is key to extend the life of the vehicles already in circulation. - Revalue: We collect, dismantle and revalue 400,000 end-of-life vehicles per year. We are already supporting OEMs to meet the regulatory requirements of EPR in France. This can only be done with a close cooperation with recyclers who we support to industrialize their processes and extract more value from ELVs – and it’s essential to adapt to new EU ELV regulation. - Recycling: We recycle automotive materials from end-of-life vehicles (copper, platinoids, plastics) and from production scraps (steel, aluminium). We need to ensure price competitiveness vs virgin materials to support decarbonization effort and meet regulatory targets. - Battery recycling: We are aiming at bringing together OEMs and battery makers to ensure efficient battery collection and establish recycling capacities in Europe. Having a battery recycling activity in Europe is not only a question of regulation, it’s a question of sovereignty of strategic materials, and securization of feedstock necessary to produce batteries locally, and keep decarbonizing our mobility. As the first European initiative entirely dedicated to #CircularEconomy in the automotive sector, we’re building bridges between #Recyclers#AfterSales players and #Automakers — and proving that cooperation across the value chain is not only possible, but essential. Now is the time to connect, to scale, and to lead the change in #SustainableMobility.

That's how it's done! That's how it works. The future is neutral. The junkyards and practices of the past are from the Paleozoic era. Today, everything is and must be efficient, intelligent, passionate, and not lose its environmental charisma. Everything is circular and functional... Since you highlighted that collaboration—even cooperation—is key, I’m curious about how THE FUTURE IS NEUTRAL engages with automakers and their tiered suppliers in redesigning products to support operations like dismantling, refurbishing, remanufacturing, and recycling within your ecosystem. Are Digital Product Passports (DPPs) already making a difference in your work, or do you see them playing a crucial role in the future? Looking forward to your insights—thanks in advance!
