The Futur™’s Post

Corporate branding is where creativity goes to die... Too many opinions. Too much approval. No edge. Brands like Coca-Cola, Nike, and Tesla water down their message to please everyone—which means they connect with no one. Yet personal brands keep copying them. Then wonder why no one cares. The truth? Corporate brands wish they could be more human. But you already are. So stop acting like a faceless company. Lean into what makes you different. That’s how you stand out. That’s how you win. #personalbranding #howtogrowyourbrand

Absolutely Chris! You always nail it and highlight an approach that many don’t even consider. I also find working with personal brands super inspiring. Their authenticity really fuels my creativity and makes the work so much more fulfilling.

Your personality, your character, the way you act, the way you speak, is your personal brand, don't change it to fit the audience but try to deliver it so that the right audience comes to you. Because at the end of the day, personally I have never felt motivated by a Nike commercial, but they have used one of my inspirational athlete to promote their product.

Let’s not reference Tesla as an example of a good brand. It no longer is.

In a space, where everybody is doing the same, "character" makes the difference. I never understood that for every campaign we do, we have a target group, but a brand has to please everybody.

That's such a good point. Finding the character and personality in a business is relatively easy but takes courage to really step into it!
