A feature (not a bug) of the new world is multigenerational workplaces: this is one of the disruptive dynamics leaders face that is both a risk (not paying attention), and an opportunity (adapting swiftly with new leadership techniques and organizational structures can mean improved innovation and the competitive edge). Just like #ai - these are disruptive forces that constitute either a risk or an opportunity. It could go either way, depending on our response. Looking forward to getting stuck into this super valuable study by Rebecca Robins and Patrick Dunne 🙌🏼
💚 Welcome to the world... Five Generations at Work: How we win together, for good The definitive playbook for empowering intergenerational collaboration, innovation and productivity in business and society. Of the three books that I have written, THIS is the most important book yet. 1️⃣ For the first time in history, we have up to five generations at work. In the context of a world in flux and polycrisis, our diversity is a powerful force multiplier for good, if we debunk the stereotypes and know how to unlock it 2️⃣ It was written through the voices of five generations for every generation – for students, first career movers, founders, entrepreneurs, managers, leaders and board members 3️⃣ It open sources how to maximise the dynamics of our generational diversity, connecting cultural, collaborative, consumer and competitive advantage 4️⃣ It unpacks a global body of research and work across four continents with global corporates, family businesses, education and foundations, including: Ahlstrom I EY Foundation I Financial Times I Hoffmann-La Roche I Imaginable Futures I LVMH I Liberty Global I Mars I Mission 44 I The Oxford Character Project I St. Gallen Symposium I The UNDP and Samsung and more…! 5️⃣ Above all, this book is a call to action to us all. When humanity is being challenged by the forces upon us, from climate, to geopolitics, to technology, we need to draw on the strengths of every generation for sustainable and systemic change for good Collaboration and co-creation is one of the central messages of the book, and that holds true in co-authoring across generations, with the brilliant Patrick Dunne 💚 And it is now available for pre-order 💚💚💚💚 https://lnkd.in/e7PUcx7v A heartfelt thank you for the phenomenal response already this week to my first reveal and promise of a new book. It has meant so much 💚 It’s now very real and it's about the impact that we can all make in the everyday and in the extraordinary The great Toni Morrison, in her Nobel acceptance speech, talked about “meaning that secures our difference, our human difference.” Words matter, because they can make a difference. Please spread the word and let's make a human difference! https://lnkd.in/e7PUcx7v #fivegenerations #fivegenerationsatwork #brands #culture #collaboration #collaborativeleadership #innovation #entrepreneur #Intrapreneur #cocreation #culturechange #familybusiness #generations #Intergenerational #interdisciplinary #leadership #nextgen #sustainability #SDGs #transformation

Different But Same Same. It feels great to be understood and to be loved. But how often do we practice empathy and try to understand from the other’s perspectives before we make a comment(verbally or in our head)? Join us in thought provoking and meaningful dialogues with our subject matter experts. You will have the opportunity to have intimate discussions with leaders from the 3P (people, public, private) sectors, and to learn from their years of knowledge and experience across various industries. You and the other participants will share the stage with our guest speakers by sharing your perspectives and thoughts. Through discussions, you will then propose ideas that you could expect support from the ecosystem partners to create positive societal change. Let’s unite diversity through empathy! Together we foster a more inclusive, empathetic and gracious society through playing our part in various social causes. We might be different in our unique ways but ultimately we are the same one human race. Let kindness take the centre stage and we be the agents of change. Note: Although we are halfway through the programme, you are still welcome to join us!

🏆And the Darwin Award goes to… Private Sector DEI Defectors 🏆 DEI is a well-studied topic, and research overwhelming shows that it isn’t just about values. Diverse and inclusive companies consistently outperform their peers. They attract top talent, foster innovation, and understand their customers in ways that homogenous teams simply can’t. In short, the science shows that DEI is a proven competitive advantage. So if we assume the scientists got it right, all things equal, private sector companies that ditch DEI programs are going to be at a competitive *disadvantage* Walking away from DEI isn’t just a moral misstep; it’s a strategic blunder. In the free market, survival of the fittest will favor companies that hold the line on DEI.

Life has a way of surprising us with opportunities to make a difference. Today, I’m beyond excited to share one such moment: I’ve joined the Board of United Planet. For those who don’t know, United Planet is about breaking barriers, connecting cultures, and inspiring meaningful action across communities. Its mission feels deeply personal to me—not just as a leader but as someone who believes in the transformative power of human connection. So let me tell you why this matters to me: • It aligns with my belief in life-first leadership. • It’s a chance to apply and expand the lessons I’ve learned at CI&T—where we’re rethinking transformation through AI—to a global cause rooted in compassion. • Most importantly, it reminds us that leadership isn’t confined to business—it’s about contributing to the bigger picture. At its core, I see leadership as orchestration, which means bringing people, ideas, and purpose together to create something extraordinary. United Planet embodies this by building bridges where others see divides. And honestly, doesn’t the world need more of that right now? As I step into this new role, I bring more questions than answers: “How can we do better—for each other, across borders, and for future generations?” To my network: If this vision speaks to you, let's connect. Whether we’re exchanging ideas or taking action, I’m here for it. Together, let’s advance the concept of a more connected and compassionate world. Here’s to new chapters and shared missions. Let’s make every step count! Honored with your invitation David Santulli. Count on me Jill Tracy, MBA, PhD student, and all United Planet board, teams, volunteers, and friends. UP we GO!
