Scripps News has received a prestigious Gracie Award for its investigation into child fentanyl overdoses. The Alliance for Women in Media announced the winners today. Scripps News also received an honorable mention in two other categories. “We are honored that our years of reporting on this issue have been recognized by an organization that elevates and empowers not only women but female investigative journalists,” said Lori Jane Gliha, Scripps News Investigates correspondent. “We are delighted to know more people will see our work as a result of this award.
