Terex Washing Systems’ Post

In this edition of Team Talk, we’re delighted to introduce Jason Rowe, a key member of our Service Engineering team at Terex Washing Systems. With years of global experience under his belt and a hands-on approach to every install, Jason brings both technical expertise and a customer-first mindset to every project. Name: Jason Rowe Position: Service Engineer 1.     What initially attracted you to join our team?   I lived in Australia for over 10 years and when I came home my brother-in-law was an employee of Terex and recommended me to join the company. I worked in many quarries and construction sites in Australia that used Powerscreen and Terex equipment, so I was aware of the company and their high quality equipment. Also, as Terex being a global company, I was attracted to the opportunities and experience that I could gain. 2.     What is your role in the team and what do you enjoy most about it? My role is a Service Engineer for TWS. I enjoy the variety in my job, every day is different, and every project is unique. Whether it is a standard or bespoke plant, each install is challenging in its own ways. I enjoy building a relationship with the customer and working with a good team to get all the installs completed on time.    3.     Can you share a memorable team achievement or success story that you were a part of?   Last year we completed a bespoke plant at Extract in France. This was a tough job to get completed as there was so many plants integrated into one and this install was the one that challenged me the most. I’m proud of the team who worked with me on this project as there were some hard days but I’m happy with the overall outcome. I also received a Crowning achievement award from our VP Pat Brian for customer support on this project.   4.     Can you share an interesting fact or detail about yourself we might not know about you?   Some of my colleagues might be shocked by this but I used to have hair… when I was 4 😊 Photo included as proof lol 5.     What is your favourite thing to do?   As I travel a lot with my job, my favourite thing to do is spend time with my family at the weekends- we go for walks, cycle and cook at home.      6.     Can you share a favourite travel destination or a place you'd love to visit someday?   Someday I would love to travel the Route 66 in America. 7.     Do you have a favourite quote or mantra that inspires you?   The purpose of life is to be happy. 8.     What are you career aspirations at Terex?   In the future I would like to gain experience in the commissioning side of the installations. As I also enjoy developing a good relationship with our customers, I would perhaps like to move into a role that is more customer support based.
