On April 1, 2025, Robert Huber, Tenable’s Chief Security Officer, Head of Research, and President of Tenable Public Sector, testified before the House Homeland Security Committee’s Subcommittee on Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection. Bob emphasized the importance of the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (#SLCGP) in strengthening cybersecurity and critical infrastructure, while recommending grant process improvements to increase participation. Congrats Robert Huber! Huge accomplishment.
Very well said in the video. To many people think we can just outright prevent cyber risk and compromise when the truth of the matter is, we can’t. Developing better resources for recovery (incident response), that leads to better education and security controls is the way. Across the board, companies only act on doing something differently only after they’ve become a victim to these attacks. What happens next?
I love seeing my good friend’s expertise on full display. Bob, thank you for your brilliance and leadership!
Really well done, Robert Huber!!! Thank you!
