In a wild wild year of proptech, the topic that dwarfed them all was the commission lawsuits and the NAR settlement. To miss it would be akin to tossing a horseshoe in a wide corral; unless you fling it straight into the sky, you’re guaranteed to hit something. No sense in beating this to death, as I’m certain all of us are sick of hearing and talking about the $418 million judgement day. A few other notable industry developments: AI onslaught, fiscal Control, real estate recession, Compass' CCP crusade, and fundraising & liquidity woes... And, with that, time to saddle up and get to how we fared against GEM's 2024 predictions. 3moThanks for sharing. The image shows that we still have a long way to go, both metaphorically and in reality. Metaphorically as this is still the wild west with lots of claims about what AI does and in reality as Saloon is not spelt Soiloon or Soloon ... (whoops!)
