Once again, we are coming up to a wonderful time of year to spend with friends, family and loved ones. With all of the excitement nearing for the upcoming holidays and as we wrap things up at work, we would like to remind everyone to stay safe and take extra precautions, especially leading in and during the holiday season and the end of another calendar year. With this in mind, Gillam would like to continue our “Home Safe for the Holidays” campaign. The upcoming weeks can be the toughest for our teams as we try to wrap things up at work and deal with last-minute tasks on our lists. Stress, fatigue, haste/rushing are major contributing factors for incidents and injuries around this time of year. It is important everyone remain vigilant and stay focused while concentrating on the task at hand. Hazards can be controlled if the right control measures are put in place. Gillam, with the support of the League of Champions, are encouraging everyone to remember the importance of staying safe and to look out for each other. Let’s celebrate this season with passion and gratitude.
