After lots of playtesting, I've made some awesome additions to the game! Introducing a new train base where players can upgrade, decorate, and then venture into the city for supplies. Plus, I've revamped the combat system for a more fluid and fun experience! Inspired by games like Samurai Western, God of War, and DMC. Bullet Bros Log #4 Always think of one feature in your game that makes it stand out from the rest. In this project we merged the idea of destructible environment combined with platformer and random character to make our game stand out from rest in the gamejam. The mechanic was simple, to destroy the tile from the tile map if it gets hit. Then we further expanded this mechanic by introducing types of weapon and behaviors for each weapon to make them balanced but unique. Having a unique feature not only makes your game stand out but also forces you to come up with unique solutions for unique problems.
