An excellent summation of the challenges burdening wireless industry contractors. The finalization of NTIA funding for the BEAD program is a major step toward closing the digital divide across the U.S., ensuring affordable, high-speed internet reaches every community. This progress aligns with initiatives like Canada’s Universal Broadband Fund, which is investing heavily to bring reliable connectivity to rural and remote areas, such as the successful deployment of high-speed internet to underserved communities in Northern Ontario. Both nations are making strides to ensure digital equity drives opportunities for all! 🇨🇦🇺🇸
The Fiber Broadband Association would like to celebrate every single U.S. state and territory for the finalization of NTIA funding! The approval of all the Initial Proposals for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program means that all states and territories can officially move forward in their plans to bring affordable, reliable, high-speed internet services to their communities.
