Real world examples can inspire change. By implementing pilot projects, we are showcasing scalable, viable solutions that can increase competitiveness and be part of shaping future prosperous cities. At TI, our mission is simple. Bring people together, foster collaboration, and highlight solutions that are viable. Sweden is one of the leading countries and Swedish companies are leading the transition. If you think about the enormity of this transformation that we're going through and what we have to do in the next few years, it's very important that we have strong leadership. It's not going to happen on its own. So Sweden has been a pioneer within the green transition for decades and that does enable us to bring two different things to the US market. 1 is all the learnings on policy development and removing barriers in order to. Accelerated through intercession. Another thing is the hundreds of innovative Swedish companies that offer technologies that can help the US accelerate their journey and scale these solutions faster on the US market specifically, Sweden is one of the most innovative countries on the planet. It's #1 when it comes to the NHL transition, it has done a lot of work that the world needs. Today. Cities covered just 3% of Earth's surface but are responsible for over 70% of the global greenhouse gas emissions. Decarbonizing cities is essential for sustainable and prosperous world and a viable cities. Our mission is quite clear, climate neutral cities by 20-30. Partnering with GCI has been a key part of expanding this mission beyond Europe. And together we're fostering global collaboration and knowledge sharing, ensuring that cities can take the lead for greener and a sustainable world. And I think that if we do that together, cities peer-to-peer. I think we can move mountains. We can. We can come a long way. We are proud to have collaborated with Volvo Construction Equipment, whose Corner and Atlas Copco on a pilot project that marks the first full electric construction site in the United States, located in Durham, NC. Dielectric model allows there to be a really strong connection between the process and the product. GTI works on system pilot projects not only to showcase innovative technologies, but also to offer insights to businesses and local governments, with the aim to scale sustainable solutions across cities in the United States. One of our key platforms is CTS. We'll bring together industry leaders, city representatives and innovators to talk about future proven strategies. It's about sharing expertise. And that is also why we're in conjunction with the event. We host intimate small round tables to really dig into sharing expertise and knowledge. It's only through events like this that we're able to meet the people who have the solutions, we're able to help to make the right connections. And so again. I feel like these types of convenings are really important, and especially when it's focused on green transition in urban areas. My key take away from today's summit is that there are many ongoing collaborations already between stakeholders in Sweden and the United States, but that we need to increase both speed and scale of the collaboration. The future is about making cities smarter, quieter, and more efficient. Any day savings within buildings, lower cost and electrification of construction, reduce noise and improves air quality. Air TI where helping accelerate the adoption of efficient transportation, resilient energy and sustainable Urban Development. All solutions that will help you and improve your life. Let's pioneer the possible.
Collaboration is truly a fast track to genuine progress—it’s one key to unlocking faster learning, sparking rapid development, and sharing and uncovering valuable insights. When we come together, even the smallest ideas can take root and blossom into something extraordinary. When Sweden and USA collaborates, two great countries, the best is yet to come! Best wishes to Linda, the GTI team, and everyone involved in their projects across both Sweden and the USA.
