"Buffett and Berkshire" In this series I will share tidbits about Berkshire and Warren Buffett. How he judged businesses from the eyes of an Investor and facts that doesnot show up anywhere Let's start with first one. We often hear Berkshire is too big, old school, low growth company and hence it lags S&P 500 by big margin. But Is it? The Investing and financial world like every other have lot of copy cats and lacks independent thinkers. So what is the fact? Berkshire beats S&P 500, on 5 year, 10 year, 15 year, 20 year , 25 year and every other 5 or 10 year period from there on. It beats it hands down, so much so that beyond 25 years S&P 500 looks like a tiny kid in front of Big Berkshire #Berkshire was never for gamblers. It has always been slow Turtle that beats the Hare. In the years, when Indexes see mad rush, it underperforms but in the long term, in any time interval it beats the S&P 500 and most likely will keep doing so in the future Do you own Berkshire ? Or Wish to dissect any of the #Buffett's past investment ? Let me know #BuffettandBerkshire #GlobalInvesting
