Through it all, we’ve remained laser-focused on elevating brands, driving meaningful results, and making a lasting impact. 💼💥 🏆 Winning Crafter of the Year: Being honored at our annual awards was a moment to remember. It’s been proof that hard work, passion, and a sprinkle of creativity truly pay off! 🌍 Mastering Remote Work: Who would’ve thought that working in pajamas would become a skill? 🎄What Home Alone 2 Taught Me About Merch Strategy in 2025 Okay, let’s start with the obvious: Kevin McCallister is the GOAT of creative problem-solving. Left alone (again) and armed with nothing but a Talkboy and pure chaos energy, he took down two grown criminals and made us all desperately want a voice recorder that didn’t actually rewind tapes that fast. What’s the lesson for merch in 2025? Easy: If your merch doesn’t make people feel like Kevin outsmarting the Wet Bandits, you’re doing it wrong. 🕵️♂️ Here’s what Kevin (and his iconic merch moment) can teach us: 1️⃣ Go beyond the basics. Kevin wasn’t just setting traps—he was innovating! The Talkboy wasn’t just a recorder; it was a toy, a tool, and the most legendary product placement of the ‘90s. Your merch should also feel like more than just a T-shirt. Think bold designs or products that scream, “You need this in your life!” 2️⃣ Build something people actually use. Kevin’s Talkboy didn’t sit in a drawer. He used it to mess with concierge desks and rob pizza delivery guys (iconic). Make sure your merch isn’t just another freebie—it should feel like something people grab every day because it’s fun and functional. 3️⃣ It’s all about the feels. The Talkboy wasn’t just cool—it connected us to Kevin’s story. Your merch should do the same for your audience. Killer hoodies, or funky socks, it should say, “Welcome to the squad!” So, channel your inner Kevin in 2025. Make merch that’s more than just swag. Today, The Social Craft celebrates 4 years of being in business – and here are a few highlights that have made my journey unforgettable. – Landing this job was a highlight on its own. Working at a place that genuinely cares about its people and recognises us as its most significant asset has been nothing short of inspiring. It makes going the extra mile feel worthwhile, and you don’t think twice about doing it. – Experiencing a safari! It hit me that I’d never seen the Big 5 in person until going to our conference with The Social Craft. Just one of those ‘pinch-me’ moments that make you grateful to work for a company that truly looks after its people. – Diving into work with incredible clients. I’ve had the chance to see the behind-the-scenes of how some of the biggest brands operate, and it’s been a game-changer for my own growth and experience. – Finally, the people. Working alongside some of the most talented, passionate folks out there (not surprising, since we specialise in EVP 😉).
