They are under 40 years old and are bringing in 50MM in AUM every year!! It's more than they can currently handle. Ten years ago, when I first jumped into the entrepreneurial world as a Virtual Assistant, nobody had a clue what a VA was. Honestly, I didn’t either! I was carving out a role based on what I thought a VA should do—getting stuck in and supporting my clients in any way I could. Fast forward to today, and while the term "VA" is more familiar, it’s also wildly misunderstood. Many people ask for a VA when what they actually need is something—or someone—completely different. Hiring a VA but expecting them to create a full-blown marketing strategy or manage a complex tech stack is like buying a bike and wondering why it can’t fly.
