It’s been a decade in the SAP space and I have been thinking a lot about key elements around career planning. When it comes to career planning, we often focus on the next role, the next promotion, or the next company. But career growth is a long-term journey that’s shaped by a series of intentional choices, not just short-term gains. I’m thinking about some key points if you have any thoughts go for it in the comments!!! 1. Skills over titles: Ask yourself what skills you want to develop rather than what title you want next. The right skills can open doors that titles alone may not. 2. Adaptability: The ability to navigate change, learn new tools, and adapt to industry shifts is more critical than ever. Keep upskilling and stay curious. 3. Purpose and alignment: Choose roles and opportunities that align with your values and passions. When work is meaningful, success follows. 4. Networking with intent: Relationships matter. Build a network that challenges and supports your growth—not just in times of transition but throughout your career. 5. Long-term vision: Your career is a marathon, not a sprint. Map out your goals, but don’t be afraid to take unexpected detours that may lead to even greater opportunities. Career planning isn’t a straight path. It’s a combination of learning, growth, and strategic decisions. What’s been your approach to navigating your career journey like I said add your thoughts in the comments!!! #CareerGrowth #CareerPlanning #LeadershipDevelopment #SkillsOverTitles

This past week was truly extraordinary! On Monday, I had the incredible opportunity to travel Chicago, Illinois, to connect with many professionals from the Chicago SAP practice and my assigned Business Readiness team. This experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of SAP. I also gained valuable insights into the Supply Chain Consultant field. A special shoutout goes to Christopher Chong, Robyn Fox, Connor Hergenreter, and Bryce Piper. Their patience, energy, and creativity made this experience unforgettable. I am extremely grateful for their support and guidance. One of the highlights of my week was the "Staff to Partner" sessions, where we had the chance to hear firsthand experiences from David Maltz and Jennifer Czupek about their journeys up the corporate ladder. Their real-life perspectives were incredibly inspiring, and I cherished the opportunity to pick their brains. Meeting my manager, Rachel N. Patel, in person was another highlight. During this brief 4-day session, Rachel provided an abundance of feedback, encouragement, and guidance, which I greatly appreciated. I want to give one more special shoutout to the entire team of interns. (Mina McCorry, Jose Enrique Cardona, Kai Liu, Ava Smith, Jose Osorio, Aadhya Mohan, Madeline O'Connor, Catherine Sernel, Pritika Bhattacharya, and Reuben Covey) It was a joy getting to know everyone and working together to create our capstone presentation encapsulating our summer contributions. This experience has been a pivotal moment in my professional journey, and I am excited to apply the knowledge and skills I've gained moving forward! #SupplyChain #EY #ProfessionalGrowth #Chicago #MSU

A couple of weeks back, I participated in SAP's internal career connect event, and it was one of those learnings that came just at the right time, if you know what I mean. I really wanted to take the time to share with you my key takeaways, hoping someone else gets it at the right time too ;) 🔹 There's no blueprint for a career. Choose a path that drives you toward purpose rather than just opportunity. Talents will always find opportunities. 🔹 Satisfy your curiosity, personal needs, and ambition; opportunities will naturally follow. Remember, we are more than our day-to-day jobs. 🔹 Know yourself, but also understand how you are perceived by others. Develop your brand. 🔹 Growth and comfort don't coexist—be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Embrace transformation and tackle hard projects. 🔹 By nurturing your network, your network will nurture you. Take some risks; no one is ever truly 'ready.' 🔹 Be kinder to yourself. Influence doesn't need titles; it requires confidence and competence. 🔹 Be brave enough to be a beginner—every expert was once one. #CareerAdvice #PersonalGrowth #Networking #BeBold #Confidence #ContinuousLearning

“Fresh out of university, stepping into my first job, I kept hearing the owner say, ‘Consultancy is a lifestyle.’ At first, I thought it was just a saying—until I saw it in action. The passion, the resilience, the relentless drive to solve complex problems, day in and day out. That’s when I realized: consultancy isn’t just a career; it’s a mindset, a way of life that shapes you. And once you start, there’s no going back. #ConsultancyLife #CareerJourney #Mindset #PassionForImpact” #SAPSuccessFactors #SAP

Is It Time for a Change? Now that the summer holidays are over and the third quarter is near, I’ve noticed many SAP-Professionals re-evaluating their career paths. After a summer break, they return with fresh eyes and begin questioning whether their current roles still align with their goals. If you’re feeling stuck or unchallenged, you’re not alone. Many successful people switch jobs regularly—not because they failed, but because they outgrew their roles. They crave new challenges, better opportunities, and environments that foster growth. It’s natural to reassess your career when the fit isn’t right anymore. 𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒋𝒐𝒃𝒔? Look out for some of my posts in the next days. I’ll dive into some of the key questions to help you decide if it’s time for a change. In the meantime, feel free to connect with me and let's set up a call about current opportunities in the SAP market in Germany. #CareerChange #JobSwitching #CareerGrowth #NewOpportunities
