Yesterday we were pleased to be out and about at the INCA - Independent Networks Co-operative Association ‘Road to Consolidation’ conference. Our Director of Strategy, Donal Hanrahan, joined a panel on "Accelerating Wholesale", where he spoke about the work we are doing to achieve exactly that with The Fibre Café 🚀 In case you missed it, Donal covered topics including: ✅ How Fibre Café is seeing significant growth of wholesale transactions across its platform, between its ISP and network provider customers ✅ Fibre Café's work with altnets to bring an additional 1 million premises to its platform by year end - a compelling volume of premises for larger ISPs ✅ How wholesale is working for Openreach, it’s the altnets that need to join the party ✅ The 7 million premises that Altnets have passed without Openreach overbuild and why these represent a compelling wholesale offering today, but that advantage will be lost if Altnets can’t secure the 1st connection while they can ✅ How even the best vertically integrated Altnet ISPs can’t expect their brand to target every possible customer, but how they can monetize their networks by opening up to brands that reach the consumers they don’t In anticipation of INCA's 2024 'Altnet Summit' event in November, it was great to be part of such a collaborative, hands-on event which reflected on the current and projected state of the market, imminent changes, and how the sector can best position itself to take full advantage. #INCA #INCAConference #RoadToConsolidation

When I was asked if I'd like to come to the #TheNTWKsummit and talk about how RMX Recommerce is helping retailers and distributors take back control of their used inventory and building Pre-Owned businesses, I wasn't sure about the event as it was new to me. But it was Barcelona - a favourite city of mine and I wanted to get out on stage again - I know some dont like it but I really enjoy public speaking, so I was happy to go. Didn't need to worry - Amazing venue, well organised event and most importantly, it was refreshing to go somewhere and meet a completely new group of people, instead of seeing the same familiar faces. Had a great panel chat with Rich Bulger as host, and my fellow guests Justus Klüver - Schlotfeldt and Robert Johnson, MBA around Generating Revenue from Reverse Logistics and the Circular Economy. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed presenting so will definitely be looking to do more. Really enjoyed it all. Great job Marina Planas and team. I'm going to talk separately about Peter C. Evans, PhD and Rich Bulger Circular Economy Master Class which happened after the event - what I will say is - if you get the chance to do this course - take it - you won't regret it.
