A large industrial site in Walnut, California, required significant stormwater storage to meet project requirements for a new 270,000 square-foot building and parking lot. Due to various landscaping and utility constraints, the development had limited space available. StormTrap was selected to provide an underground detention system, designed to minimize footprint, accommodate deep cover, and handle heavy vehicle traffic loading. See photos below of the uniquely shaped basin engineered using 3’-0” SingleTrap pieces. The system was placed underneath the parking lot and provides 21,420 cubic feet of water storage.
