Hello you fab bunch, it's week 106 of YMA's #PostcardwithPurpose. This week's little reminder is that rest is productive too 💜💜💜. We talk about wellbeing all the time and seem to forget that rest is a fundamental part of being and staying well. We have to rest and refuel in order to reset and be the best version of ourselves. Self- care is all about self-preservation. It's not synonymous with self-indulgence. It's a necessity, not a luxury and it will look different for everyone. Resting and resetting includes more than stopping what you are doing and taking time out. It can be taking time out from the hustle and bustle of life to do more of what boosts your mood and helps you feel good. When we consider the cornerstones of good health we tend to focus on sleep, exercise, relationships and nutrition.
