SOLTECH NV’s Post

🔌 Plug in or 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧? Yesterday, a new solution made its debut on the Belgian energy market: plug-in solar panels - small, modular units that you can simply connect to a socket at home. A quick and easy win for energy-conscious consumers - but let’s be honest: these panels often clash with the architecture they cling to. At #SOLTECH, we believe sustainability should never compromise aesthetics. That’s why we’re proud to highlight our latest reference project: De Kring in Stad Genk - a unique blend of heritage and innovation. 🏛️ Originally built in 1914, the historic Zaal De Kring in #Waterschei - once a multifunctional gathering space for the local mining community - was respectfully repurposed. Its authentic façade was preserved and restored, honouring over a century of architectural history. Behind it now lies a new residential complex of 22 modern homes, designed for the comfort and energy standards of today. ☀️ And discreetly embedded in the balustrades? A custom-designed BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) solution by SOLTECH - a hybrid between our ISSOL® Square and ISSOL® Stripe technologies. The result: seamless energy generation with zero visual disruption. 📌 Project: De Kring 🏗 Type: Renovation - Residential 📍 Location: Genk, Belgium 🏁 Delivered: 2024 In a time where plug-and-play might be the fast track, we choose timeless integration. Clean energy without visual noise. Because good design doesn’t shout - 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧. #SOLTECH #SolarPanelPotential #SolarPotential #BIPV #SustainableArchitecture #BuildingIntegration #DeKring #Genk #SolarDesign #HeritageMeetsFuture #ArchitecturalInnovation #NetZero #RenovationProject
