Our private assets partner and agri-tech specialist Zebra Impact Ventures, which manages our Regenerative Growth I strategy, co-led the funding round in conjunction with the Ecotechnologies 2 fund, managed on behalf of the French government by Bpifrance Green Venture as part of France 2030. The funding will enable Micropep to accelerate its ‘go-to-market’ strategy 🚀 Leading the way in agritech innovation, Micropep develops biosolutions to protect crops against pathogens and resistant weeds. We’ve closed a record-breaking Series A, led by BNP Paribas alongside other visionary US and EU investors including AgFunder, Earthshot Ventures, Elevator Ventures and Rabobank, fueling our mission to transition the food industry towards #RegenerativeAgriculture and feed the planet securely & sustainably. My first instinct was to start thanking people who made this possible for us, but I quickly realised that the list has grown so long that I would inevitably forget many important colleagues, friends, clients and supporters - and you as the reader would likely get bored. So instead of giving shoutouts to individuals, I will appreciate the collective and communal spirit without which this would have been impossible. Nothing makes me more proud than seeing our Klim family grow - internally with all the Klimians, and externally with our partners, investors, farmers and supporters. The journey is not always easy and you all make it manageable and enjoyable, enabling us to continuously get better and create more value. I cannot wait to see what the next part of the journey brings! What's next?
