Today, I created the Camera component and implemented a simple follow system to track other GameObjects, specifically targeting the Player GameObject. The Camera component plays a key role in rendering, taking the viewport rect into account when drawing GameObjects that have a SpriteRenderer component. Having worked with Unity, Unreal, Roblox, and Godot, it's an incredible experience to build my own engine and watch it come to life! #GameDevelopment #IndieDev #GameEngine #SoftwareEngineering #Rendering #CameraSystem #Unity3D #UnrealEngine #RobloxDev #GodotEngine #CodingJourney #2DGameDev #GameDesign #Programming #CPlusPlus #LucidEngine
