TGS Baltic client INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund, the leading private equity fund in the Baltics, has signed an agreement to acquire shares in Pehart Group, a leading producer of household and industrial paper products and owner of the oldest paper factory in Romania. The transaction with Abris Capital Partners is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. In 2023, the Pehart Group generated revenues of €168 million and employed nearly 550 people across its companies. Today, Pehart Group is one of the largest tissue paper producers in South-East Europe, present with its household and industrial products in 19 countries. An Oppenhoff team led by Dr Stephan Koenig together with leading Italian firm Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici advised Iveco Group on an agreement with Mutares SE & Co. KGaA to transfer the ownership of MAGIRUS GmbH and its affiliates (MAGIRUS). Subject to regulatory approval, the transaction is expected to be completed no later than January 2025, therefore in a timeframe that allows for a consistent transition in the interest of all stakeholders. MAGIRUS manufactures and sells firefighting vehicles and equipment and employs more than 1,300 employees in Germany, Italy, France and Austria.
